AK IT-Sicherheit 1
Security and Privacy in the Cloud
This course examines several aspects of data security in a networked environment. The advent of powerful smart phones containing privacy sensitive information paired with a tendency to work and store data in the Cloud aggravates the question of data security and privacy protection in the Internet. In this course we discuss a set of technologies to better protect, manage and control sensitive data, with a special focus on privacy sensitive data. You will learn about
- Different notions of privacy
- Trusted platforms (mobile and desktop)
- Privacy enhancing technologies
- Cryptographic techniques (anonymous group signatures)
- Information flow security (analysis and policy enforcement)
The course consists of a lecture (VO) and a practical exercise (KU).
Exams: Each student will need to pass a written exam for the lecture.
Lecture Notes: There are no lecture notes. The presentation slides will contain supplementary references to more detailed reading material.
