SIC

Stiftung Secure Information and Communication Technologies

IAIK has established the foundation “Stiftung Secure Information and Communication Technologies” (SIC) to encourage independent scientific research, development as well as teaching and knowledge transfer in the fields of applied information processing, communication and information security. Stiftung SIC is also responsible for continued development, support and sales of the Crypto Toolkits for the Java™ platform that were originally developed by IAIK.

The foundation SIC has been donated a registered capital of € 2.320.000. It is a non-commercial foundation, capital yields or gains from exploiting its intellectual property are by statute dedicated to its nonprofit mission.
