Erich Wenger

Curriculum Vitae

Erich Wenger was born in August 1984, raised in Golling an der Salzach and attended a technical college for Telecommunication Engineering (HTL) in Salzburg. After a year of military service in Salzburg, he moved to Graz to study computer science ("Telematik") at the Graz University of Technology. He finished both the BSc (2007) and the MSc (2010) with distinction. During his master studies he went on exchange to the McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (8 months, Joint Study) and to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, Switzerland (6 months, Erasmus), where he did his master thesis (Integrated Systems Laboratory, supervisor: Norbert Felber). In 2010 he joined the SEnSE group of IAIK and is currently working on his PhD Thesis. He is especially interested in Elliptic Curve Cryptography, Integrated Circuit Design and Embedded Processor Design. Interested students are always welcome.
