Raphael Spreitzer received his MSc (Dipl.-Ing.) in Software Development and Business Management at Graz University of Technology in 2012. His master's thesis covered the "Applicability of Cache Attacks on Mobile Devices". Currently, he is a PhD student at the Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications (IAIK). His research interests include side-channel attacks with a special focus on mobile devices, e.g., cache attacks and sensor-based attacks on mobile devices. Furthermore, he is interested in concepts to ensure the user's privacy and security in mobile environments in general.
