Martin Feldhofer (ALUMNI)

Curriculum Vitae

Martin Feldhofer was born in January 1979 in Birkfeld, Austria, where he also attended primary school. After a technical college for Electrical Engineering in Weiz, he studied computer science ("Telematik") at the Graz University of Technology where he received his Dipl.-Ing. degree (equivalent to M.Sc.) in 2003. He joined the IAIK team in 2003 and finished his Dr. techn. degree (equivalent to Ph.D.) in the field of RFID and security in 2008. He has been awarded by the Austria's Federal Ministry for Science and Research by promoting him to "Doctor of Technical Sciences under the Auspices of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria". Currently he is post-doctoral researcher at the IAIK's VLSI group. He lives in Weiz with his family and in his spare time he likes to play soccer, skiing, and reading historical novels and thrillers.
